A recent poll asked 400 North American companies about their plans to buy pre-owned gear from the secondary channel, about deployment strategies and about their interest in alternative maintenance options. The businesses surveyed buy refurbished network equipment from After Hours Technologies or other secondary market equipment providers.
Nearly 80 percent of companies polled use refurbished network equipment in production environments while 66 percent fuel network expansions with used gear. Respondents cited network sparing, disaster recovery and testing as other top uses.
The top five reasons for purchasing secondary equipment were significant savings over OEM pricing; responsiveness; product availability; rapid delivery; and warranties. As a result, nearly 80 percent of those surveyed buy from the secondary channel up to 10 times a year.

Cisco Buy Back Program You must provide the following information: After Hours will audit your old Cisco gear at time of pickup. When the product is received at our warehouse it will be thoroughly tested and a purchase order will be sent for all the working items. All non-working items will be shipped back to the customer unless told otherwise. On smaller orders payment will be within 2 weeks and for larger orders you will receive payment within 30 days.
